Many communities want to help people who have been harmed by crime. The Civil Remedies Grant Program gives funding to support those efforts. If your organization helps prevent crime or supports victims, this grant may help you do even more good.
The Civil Remedies Grant Program is part of Ontario’s Civil Remedies Act, 2001. It gives funding to projects that:
- Support people harmed by unlawful activities
- Help stop crime before it happens
- Make communities safer for everyone
Projects must focus on one or more key areas:
- Indigenous communities
- Children and youth
- Seniors
- Intimate partner or family violence
- Human trafficking
- Gun and gang violence
- Hate crimes
- Rural or remote communities that struggle to access services
How much funding is available?
Organizations can apply for:
- Up to $200,000 per project
