Résumé

The Production Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in our custom-built mobile health vehicles. Working closely with production, engineering, and technical teams, this hands-on role ensures reliable, high-quality electrical integration. The ideal candidate is a certified electrician (Journeyman preferred) with strong knowledge of electrical systems, the ability to read schematics, and experience with automation, PLCs, or industrial equipment. A focus on safety, precision, and teamwork is essential to succeed in this role.

Responsabilités

Electrical Installation & Integration •Install, wire, and connect electrical systems and components in specialty vehicles (lighting, power, medical/mobility equipment). •Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and build documents. •Support integration of auxiliary power systems, inverters, battery management systems, and low-voltage automation. •Ensure compliance with electrical codes, internal build standards, and safety protocols. •Assist with end-of-line testing and support final inspections before delivery. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics •Diagnose and resolve electrical issues quickly to keep production on schedule. •Adapt to challenges during builds and offer practical solutions to maintain quality and flow. •Maintain clear and accurate documentation of installations, inspections, and repairs. Cross-Team Collaboration •Communicate with Shop Foreman, engineers, and production team to meet build specifications. •Work proactively with Quality Assurance and other departments to flag and address any electrical integration concerns. •Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for layout, processes, and component selection. Work Conditions & Safety •Regularly lift up to 75 lbs, work in confined spaces, under vehicles, or overhead. •Wear required PPE: steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and protective gear. •Operate in loud, active shop settings with occasional exposure to odors or outdoor elements.

Logiciels/technologies/plateformes que nous utilisons

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, and familiarity with tools and components for 12V/24V DC and low-voltage AC systems. Solid understanding of electrical codes and diagnostic tools.
