1
Getting to Know Your Ram Promaster Exterior
Your new vehicle was built on a Ram Promaster chassis. It may look slightly different than this one, but all the controls and vehicle parts will be the same. Starting on the outside, the first thing to be mindful of is the vehicle height. This can vary depending on if you’ve included a trail package or additional components on the roof. All possible heights are listed on the screen. Memorize the height of your vehicle and be sure to check clearance for car parks and bridges. You will also want to be mindful of the additional (x) inches on either side for the running boards. You can use the side mirrors as reference. If the mirrors fit, the running boards will too. But be careful when making tight turns and leave extra space. Your key fob can be used to lock and unlock the doors. The lock button will lock all doors on your vehicle. The top left unlock button will unlock the front cab doors, while the bottom left unlock button will unlock the rear and side cargo doors. The panic button works from up to 66 feet, or 20 meters, from the vehicle. If equipped, you can remote start the vehicle by pressing the remote start button twice. This works up to 300 feet, or 91 meters, away from the vehicle.
