About Ashley
Ashley Boychuk works with Indigenous communities, healthcare organizations, and outreach agencies across Canada to help find practical solutions that improve access to healthcare, transportation, and essential support services.
For Ashley, this work is deeply personal. Through many years of volunteering in the addictions and mental health sector, she has seen firsthand how stigma, shame, geography, and lack of transportation can prevent people from accessing the help they need. Drawing from both lived and volunteer experience, Ashley understands that asking for help can already be difficult, and believes communities should have solutions that bring care and support closer to people rather than expecting them to overcome barriers on their own.
At MoveMobility, Ashley takes the time to listen, understand each organization’s needs, and help explore solutions such as mobile health clinics, mobile outreach and counselling units, and wheelchair-accessible transportation. What she values most is working alongside communities to understand their challenges and helping them find practical ways to bring healthcare, outreach, and support services closer to the people who need them.
