As part of this process, we completed a great deal of market research, which may be relevant to many health service providers. In this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.movemobility.ca\/fr\/ressources\/\">three-part blog series<\/a>, we will explore the impacts, acceptance, and focus of Mobile Clinic vans today.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-background wp-block-heading\" style=\"background-color: #f5f5f5;\">Transforming Healthcare Delivery Models with Mobile Clinic Vans<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>North American healthcare systems are actively looking for ways to transform their delivery models to increase accessibility and improve health outcomes. This shift is in response to rising costs and increases in chronic disease prevalence, especially among vulnerable populations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"has-background wp-block-heading\" style=\"background-color: #f5f5f5;\">Mobile Clinic Vans Reduce Health Disparities<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Mobile Healthcare <a href=\"https:\/\/www.movemobility.ca\/fr\/vehicle-operation-resources\/\">vehicles<\/a> are an innovative model for healthcare delivery. They have already been successful in reducing health disparities among vulnerable populations.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The US data supporting the use of Mobile Healthcare vehicles is impressive:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>6.5 million annual visits<\/li>\n<li>Return on investment: <strong>$12.00 for every $1.00 spent<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Each Mobile van saves 65 quality-adjusted life years each year it is in operation<\/li>\n<li>Each Mobile vehicle visit saves an average of $1,600.00 for the healthcare system by prevention<\/li>\n<li>Estimated that every Mobile van<strong> prevents 600 emergency room visits<\/strong> annually<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-119357 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.movemobility.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/MC-Aluminium.jpg\" alt=\"MoveMobility Mobile Clinic Van\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"has-background wp-block-heading\" style=\"background-color: #f5f5f5;\">Breaking Down Barriers to Healthcare Access<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the positive economic impact on the healthcare system, Mobile Clinic vans break down barriers to access to healthcare services and improve health outcomes:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mobile Clinic vans come to people who are not able to travel for medical attention<\/li>\n<li>Mobile Clinic vehicles go to people in remote areas who do not have means of transportation to access health services<\/li>\n<li>Patient-centric approach: Mobile Clinic vans reach out to people who feel intimidated to seek medical advice.
